Environment + Quality Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Flensburg works in accordance with a defined quality and environment policy. The management and the entire workforce have committed themselves to putting that policy into practice. The measures are coordinated by a quality manager and an environment manager.The quality awareness of the company has been reflected in official certification since 1994. This also applies to environmental awareness: production of thermal and inkjet papers has been geared to environmentally sound manufacture and processing for a number of years. The environmental management system was first validated in accordance with the EU eco-audit scheme in 1997. Revalidation in accordance with the scheme was successfully achieved in 2003. At the same time the company was certified in accordance with ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems. In 2007, Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Flensburg has been certified in accordance with FSC Chain of Custody.
