Thermal Digiplate System Thermal Digiplate System (TDP) is a complete Computer-to-Plate system utilizing the most innovative plate and platesetter technology. The unique thermal fusing technology generates printing plates that are completely processless and do not require any chemical development.  Thermal Digiplate is a marriage of long time cultivated printing plate technology of Silver Digiplate and Mitsubishi Paper  Thermal Paper technology.

The key of TDP is to develop  colour on heated area while manifesting ink acceptability, also keeping lipophile and water acceptability. The Thermal Digiplate core technology enables the plate to have such extraordinary characteristics.
Below is the structure of  Thermal Digiplate. “Thermal layer”, where colour develops and makes it work as printing plate, is coated on specially made substrate (RC paper). The surface of “Thermal layer” changes to ink acceptable once it is heated.
