Film Mitsubishi Paper is one of the leading manufacturers of paper and film materials when it comes to inkjet technology. Since the introduction of CtP, many firms have switched from filmsetting to digital CtP systems, with sales of filmsetters declining sharply. Despite everything, however, the majority of offset firms, screen printers, stamp manufacturers, flexo printers and other users are reliant on film production. Mitsubishi Inkjet Film UC100 opens up undreamt of possibilities for this target group. Extremely affordable, superior films can be produced on a standard inkjet printer (Dmax 4.0, Dmin 0.06). Various formats can be used, depending on the printer.
Separations can be output with autotypical screens using software RIP from Mitsubishi or other manufacturers. The necessary screen rulings (screen printing up to 85 lpi, offset printing up to 133 lpi) can be achieved without difficulty using the Epson Stylus 4800, 7800 and 9800 printers, as well as printers made by Canon, Mimaki and Roland.
