Inkjet printing is a non-contact printing method. The print image is generated by targeted propelling or deflecting and steering droplets of ink. Following printing methods can be distinguished:

  • Continuous Inkjet
  • Drop On Demand

    • Thermal Inkjet
    • Piezo Inkjet

We distinguish these inkjet inks:

  • Water based inks

    • Dye inks
    • Pigment inks

  • Solvent inks
  • Oil based inks

For all printing methods and inks the print quality crucially depends on the paper used. Best print results are achieved only with specially coated inkjet papers – such as our jetscript products.

The ink is fixed in the ink receiving layer, and unable to penetrate into the cellulose fibres. This enables print images with impressive sharpness and brilliant colours. In addition, the special ink receiving layer leads to an extraordinary large colour gamut, fast drying properties and best ink compatibility.
